Grateful for....

This week, my beautiful husbo and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary.  Three years married and nine years since we first started dating.....and we are more in love than ever.  Sounds corny I know....but it's true.

I am so utterly grateful to have him in my life.  We cruise through the mundane times, soak up the good times and hit the bad times head on.  We cry together, laugh together and can have an almighty argument - but always kiss, make up and store it into the 'needed that vent' file.  He is my best friend, my soul mate, my other half.

He is the best father I could have asked for.  He has the perfect balance of strict and love - and is proudly the 'Play Man'.  I love the way Moo's eyes light up when she hears the motorbike coming up the driveway or when she waves goodbye to me when Daddy arrives as she wants to go and spend the afternoon with him.  She just simply wants to have him all to herself - something I can completely relate with.

And then there is the patience - with me and my little business venture.  Taking over our ridiculously large bedroom with materials, ironing boards, sewing machines, etc.  Making him sleep on the couch while I want to pull a 'late-nighter' and never once does he complain.  His support is what keeps me going....

When I met this beautiful man all those years ago, I knew that I would spend the rest of my life with him - the stars were aligned and our fate had been spelled out.  Never ever did I dream that I would feel this content and happy with my family, my life and our future.

I am not grateful for him just this week - I am grateful for him every second of every day.  He challenges me, loves me and fills me with life daily.

Here's to another thirty years with my beautiful husbo....and maybe a few more!  x
